Carol Siciliano-Kilway has been representing the residents of Tallmadge since 2012 and a committed member of the community for her whole life.
As councilwoman, Kilway has taken great strides to improve the function of city government from guiding city council through the Covid-19 shutdown to streamlining processes and agendas. She played an integral part in the implantation of a state-wide protocol for the Developmental Disabled Sexual Offenders living in group homes.

The Kilway Family
Not only was Carol born and raised here, but she and her husband have also chosen to raise their family in Tallmadge! Kilway's husband, Tom, works at Atlantic Food Distributors in Canton and is a 40-year veteran on the Tallmadge Fire Department.
Carol and Tom have three children, all of whom graduated from Tallmadge High School:
- Their eldest, Dr. Courtney Kilway, is an Emergency Medicine Resident at Summa Akron City Hospital and engaged to be married to Dr. Matthew Kluever.
- Middle child Amanda Kilway, BS, MBA will graduate from Capital University Law School in May 2023.
- Tommy Kilway, their youngest child, is a Senior Finance Major at Kent State University and Captain of KSU's ACHA D1 Hockey Team.
