Dear Tallmadge Citizen,

The City of Tallmadge has many great accomplishments, and credit for our success should go to those responsible. Those who exemplify the best Tallmadge has to offer. Those who have been strong partners and provided invaluable leadership. Carol Kilway is one of those people.

I first met Carol in the mid-1980s, as a volunteer for the Tallmadge Firefighters' Women's Auxiliary supporting our firefighters by supplying coffee and water as they worked to save structures and keep our neighbors safe.

Since then, I have worked closely with Carol on council as a colleague and as Mayor. I have seen her hard work and dedication to this city. Carol is an excellent public servant and has a clear vision of where she wants to see our city go in the next decade. 

I strongly urge you to cast your vote for Carol Kilway for the next Mayor of our community, and here's why:

  • Government Experience:  Now serving as an At-Large Councilperson, Carol spent 10 years prior to that as the 4th Ward Councilperson and 4 years as President of Council. 
  • Qualified in Business: Graduate of Tallmadge High School and Kent State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Works as the Controller of Circle Mold and Machine, Inc., a long-time, very successful Tallmadge business where she is responsible for managing the company’s finances and has the budget experience that is so critical to managing the city's operations.
  • Community Leader: Carol has held many leadership positions in community organizations that are so important to the growth of our city. She is active in the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary, and is a past member of the Tallmadge League of Women Voters, as well as a volunteer on many school levy campaigns.
  • Excellent Communicator: Carol responds to all constituent concerns quickly and effectively with empathy and solutions.

Carol Kilway has the skills to lead this city into its next chapter.
